Topical themes and a broad involvement of experts
Many top-ranking domestic officials, representatives and working groups of the Alliance and the European Union, commanders of military and police units, project managers of upgrade programmes, members of national acquisition and standardization agencies, security directors of strategic institutions and critical infrastructure elements, and many others have confirmed they will attend the event. It goes without saying that the FFF´s programme will include speeches and lectures of top-ranking experts in their respective fields.
Traditional topics of the Future Forces Forum include, in particular, equipment, armament, and protection systems of an individual; CBRN defence and protection; military and emergency medicine; unmanned and robotic assets; logistic support; geography, hydrometeorology, and global navigation satellite systems; cyber protection and defence. New topics are represented, for example, by modelling and simulation, biometrics, or protection of soft targets.
New events for experts, two scientific conferences
Two new events will take place under the aegis of the FFF – a NATO workshop on the use of exoskeletons in combat missions and a NATO workshop dealing with the development of concepts and experiments in military medicine; there will also be a NATO conference on the modelling and simulation of autonomous systems, and a scientific modelling and simulation workshop.
The outdoor static and dynamic demonstrations are open to the public without any limitation; free parking will be available throughout the three-day event.
