The importance of monitoring postural stability in the training of military professionals
Military professionals can often get to many physically demanding situations, which make extremely load and even overload of musculoskeletal system. The aim of our article is to describe the current state and our contribution to development of systems and methods for measurement and evaluation of the state of musculoskeletal system of military professionals. The proposed methods and systems can lead to an individual approach to training and its effectiveness. First part of article deals with the systems and methods for measuring of the postural stability to quantitatively describe the state and behavior of the musculoskeletal system of each military professional. Second part of article is focused on application of systems and methods that we have developed in evaluating of postural stability of military professionals. We present, how was the systems and methods of quantitative evaluation created, and interpretation performed. The result is methodology and system for monitoring and evaluation of the postural stability. The proposed system ad methods are used for evaluation of the state of musculoskeletal system during training of military professionals. The kinematics and kinetics data are transferred to the commander visualization unit for further evaluation. Designed systems and methods could help to monitor, on the base of kinematics kinetics data, the health state of the individuals.
